FPC Trainee Support Programme

All trainees currently training on a BPC or UKCP accredited training in Psychodynamic Counselling, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Group Analytic Psychotherapy or Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy at a WPF Network Training Centre approved by the Directors and all ex-WPF Therapy trainees completing their training on an approved course, are eligible for FPC Trainee Membership.

FPC Approved Trainings for ex-WPF Therapy trainees

Trainee members are a valued part of the FPC community and have full access to all community activities, including:

• A series of free talks organised by the FPC Trainee Liaison Committee to support you in the transition from trainee to qualified therapist
• Access to free mentoring from an experienced FPC professional member through the FPC Mentor Scheme
  
• Free attendance at all online CPD events, including formal lectures, seminars and talks
• Free participation in online discussions
  
• Free subscription to PEP-Web
  
• Discounted subscription to the British Journal of Psychotherapy
  
• Discounted subscription to the International Journal of Psychoanalysis
  
• Funding towards the cost of your training through the FPC Bursary Fund

After graduation and on completion of all the requirements for registration with BPC or UKCP, Trainee Members are eligible to apply for professional membership of FPC and qualify for a 50% discount on first year of professional membership fee.
